Most daytime wedding music is designed to fade into the background. Ours isn't. Groovy Revolution Acoustic plays upbeat, feel-good sing-alongs that get your guests smiling and joining in from the moment the drinks start flowing.
It's the same musicians you'll see in the evening, just stripped back: acoustic guitar, piano and percussion.
Clever mash-ups, party energy - at a volume where your guests can still catch up over a glass of fizz.
We're based in Didsbury and have played well over 500 weddings across Manchester, Cheshire and the North West. We know how a wedding day flows, and how to keep it moving.

Two options, depending on the size of your day. Both cost less when you book our evening band too.
Reception Set - Acoustic Trio
Our main daytime option, with live music across your drinks reception or wedding breakfast.

How the day runs:

Drinks reception - Reception Set or Duo Set: upbeat acoustic sing-alongs while the photos are taken

Wedding breakfast - We can perform an additional set between courses if requested, and our full PA is available for you to use for background music and speeches

Evening - your evening band: live sets plus DJ-style music in between, until the last dance

One supplier, one point of contact. One booking and one person to talk to about timings - not two acts to organise.

Already on site. We arrive early for the daytime set, so the evening band is set up and soundchecked long before it's needed.

No gaps between acts. No waiting for a new act to arrive and set up. The music flows from the drinks reception to the dancefloor.

Works with sound limiters. Acoustic sets sit comfortably within venue limits, and we play venues with tight limiters all the time.

Groovy Revolution Acoustic - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much space and power do you need?
A: Far less than the full band. We need about 3m x 2m and a standard plug socket within a few metres of where we play. Most drinks reception spaces work fine - just tell us where you'd like us.
Q: How loud is it?
A: Loud enough to lift the atmosphere, quiet enough for guests to chat. We set the volume for the room and stay well within any sound limiter.
Q: Can you play outdoors?
A: Yes, as long as we have cover over the performance area and a power supply nearby. Let us know your plans and we'll help you work out the best spot.
Q: Can you play during our ceremony?
A: Our acoustic set is upbeat and party-focused, so we don't offer full ceremony music. We're happy to play one or two upbeat songs on request - a celebratory song as you walk back down the aisle works brilliantly.
Q: Can we book the acoustic band without the evening band?
A: Yes. The Reception Set is £900 and the Duo Set is £750 when booked on their own. Friday and Saturday dates go quickly, so check your date early.
