Booking a wedding band is a big decision, and it’s completely normal to have questions. We’ve answered some of the most common ones below to help you feel confident and informed. If there’s anything you don’t see here, just get in touch - we’re always happy to help.
Booking & Availability
How far in advance should we book you?

Most couples book their wedding band 12–18 months in advance, especially for peak summer dates. That said, we’re always happy to check availability, even for shorter notice weddings.
How do we secure the date?​
​
Once you’re happy to go ahead, we confirm the booking with a booking fee of 25%. The remaining balance is due closer to the event date.
Location & Travel
Where are you based and how far do you travel?
​
​We’re based in Didsbury, Manchester, and regularly perform at weddings across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and the North West. Travel is included within a reasonable distance, and we’ll always be upfront if any additional costs apply.
Have you played at Manchester venues before?​
​
Yes - we regularly perform at venues across Manchester and the surrounding areas, including city-centre locations, hotels, and converted mills. We’re familiar with venue logistics, access times, and sound limits.

Performance & Setup
How long do you play for?​
​
Our standard wedding booking includes up to 90 minutes of live music, usually split into sets to suit your evening schedule. We’re happy to advise on timings based on your plans. Our Extended Party Experience comes with 2 hours of live music as standard.
Do you provide your own PA and lighting?
​
Yes - we provide professional PA and lighting suitable for wedding venues, all included in our packages.

How long do you need to set up?
​
We typically require around 90 minutes to set up and soundcheck. We always coordinate with your venue to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Music & Personalisation
Can we choose the music?​
​
Absolutely. We can work with you to tailor the set list to your tastes and the kind of atmosphere you want, while also reading the room on the night to keep the dance floor full.
Do you take requests on the night?
​
We’re always happy to take requests where possible, especially if they fit the flow of the evening.
Pricing & Flexibility
Why do wedding bands vary so much in price?​

Pricing reflects experience, professionalism, production quality, and reliability. A live wedding band is responsible for creating the atmosphere for a key part of your day, and we focus on delivering a polished, stress-free experience you can rely on.
Do you offer different packages or flexibility?

Yes - our packages are designed to be flexible. We can adjust elements such as set length, band size, or timings to suit your day. Full details are provided on enquiry.

Logistics & Reassurance
What happens if a band member is unavailable?​
​
We’re an established band with trusted, experienced dep musicians available if needed. Your booking is always protected.
What do you wear?
​
We dress appropriately for weddings and can adapt our look to suit your style, whether that’s classic, relaxed, or something in between.
​
Are you insured?
​
Yes - we carry full Public Liability Insurance, which many venues require.
