We've been playing weddings in Cheshire for over 20 years, and if there's one thing we've learned about this county, it's that Cheshire couples have high standards - and their guests do too.
From the barns around Mobberley and Knutsford to the country houses of Nantwich and the hotels of Chester, we've played them all. We know which venues have tight sound limiters, which rooms need a different mix to really sing, and which dancefloors fill up fastest when you open with the right song.
We're a five-piece band based in Didsbury - close enough to Cheshire that we can be on-site early, set up calmly, and be soundchecked long before your guests arrive.

What we actually do differently:
Our sets are built around mash-ups and medleys, not standalone songs with dead air between them. When one track flows into the next without a break, people don't leave the floor. That's the philosophy, and it works whether we're playing Heaton House Farm on a July Saturday or a marquee in Alderley Edge in December.
We read the crowd constantly. A table of 70-year-olds who looked like they wouldn't budge? We've watched them get up for a Motown medley they didn't see coming. That's not luck - it's experience, and 20 years of Cheshire weddings has given us plenty of it.

A: Yes - many of our most regular venues are in Cheshire, and sound limiters are something we encounter often. We adapt our mix and monitoring setup to stay well within limits without losing any energy in the room. Just let us know your venue's restrictions when you get in touch and we'll talk you through exactly how we handle it.
Q: How far in advance should we book a Cheshire wedding band?
A: Most couples book 12-18 months ahead, particularly for summer Saturdays, which are the first to go. If you're planning a winter wedding or a weekday, you may have more flexibility - but it's always worth checking early.
Q: We're getting married at [venue] - have you played there?
A: We've performed at weddings across Cheshire for over two decades, so there's a good chance we have. Drop us a message with your venue name and we can let you know what our experience there is like.
Q: How far do you travel from Didsbury into Cheshire?
A: Cheshire is essentially our back garden - most venues are within 30–45 minutes of us. Chester, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Nantwich, Wilmslow - we cover all of them as standard. Further afield? Just ask. We've played in Italy and Spain, so distance rarely stops us.
Q: Can you learn our first dance song?
A: In many cases, yes. We've learned custom first dance songs for couples plenty of times - including tracks that aren't in our standard repertoire. Get in touch with the song you have in mind and we'll let you know if it's something we can do.
Q: Can we pick the setlist?
A: Absolutely. Just let us know your must-plays and any songs you'd prefer to avoid, and we'll build a set around that. You won't get a one-size-fits-all performance.
