Owen House sits in the Cheshire countryside just outside Mobberley - a converted working farm that's been welcoming weddings since 2013. The main barn seats up to 190 for the wedding breakfast and opens up to 250 for the evening reception. It's warm, characterful, and full of natural acoustic energy from the exposed beams and timber structure - the kind of room that rewards a well-mixed, live band.

The room has great natural warmth. The wooden beams and barn structure mean sound carries beautifully - we don't need to push volume to fill the space. That also means we can work well within any sound restrictions the venue applies, without losing any impact on the dancefloor.
The evening timeline is tight and well-structured. Owen House runs their weddings with real precision - the room turnaround typically happens between 6:30pm and 7:30pm, evening guests arrive at 7:30, and the first dance is usually called around 8:30pm. We've worked within this schedule many times and we know how to set up quickly, soundcheck efficiently, and be ready well before the first guests arrive.
The dancefloor fills fast when you get it right. The intimate layout of the barn creates a naturally social atmosphere - guests are close to the stage and close to each other, which is ideal for building momentum.
